AN ITERATIVE METHOD FOR A NONLINEARTIME-DELAY MODEL IN BIOLOGY abstract
This paper presents a method for nding the analysisof nonlinear time-varying delay logistic equation using VariationalIteration Method (VIM). The method is based on the use of La-grange multiplier for identi cation of optimal value of a parameterin a functional. This procedure is a powerful tool for solving largeamount of problems. Also it provides a sequence which convergesto the solution of the problem without discretization of the vari-ables. In this study an idea is proposed that accelerates the conver-gence of the sequence which results from the variational iterationformula for solving systems of Delay Di erential Equations (DDE).Illustrative examples are included to demonstrate the validity andapplicability of the technique.
