Vis and Ramin, Wise Jung

The proverbial form and the ancient and guiding archetypes are two old archetypes manifested in fables, myths and stories. They usually appear as an assistant old man, determining the ways and how to leave the obstacles behind for the heroes. Some of the archetypes are manifested in father, king, evil wizard/with and inner voice. According to Jung, although the wise archetype is considered as men's trait, it does not belong only to men and appears in women too. So, in Vis and Ramin versified story, such a role is played by the nursemaid. In fact, the nursemaid is a sensible meaning of the eternal mom who has positive and negative aspects. She appears unconditionally throughout the story. The other character is the wise Behgoo, the wise man who appears in the story just once and changes the Ramin’s life. The archetypal characters appear along with the heroes and guide them to reach their intended goal
