GIS based Distributed Load Growth Estimation for Distribution Networks Expansion Planning

Load estimation is one of the most efficient ways in design and expansion planning of electric distribution systems. In this paper we propose a GIS based load estimationmethod which is able to determine precise amount of load shared for each feeder by considering geometric criteria. In thismethod by clustering mineral and agricultural distributed loads and building feeder's load receptive matrix, and also by considering each cluster's load factor andmeeting system's operational conditions, the load growth for each feeder is anticipated.
