Abstract:
Today, almost everyone is affected by the computer system in the world directly or indirectly. In recent years software failure and development costs became the main costs of all systems. That’s why software engineers sought solutions to this problem and proposed the fault tolerance techniques. A fault tolerance system is a category that can be used in designs with high reliability. By increasing the software development, a lot of researches are being done on software reliability. One of the most important methods to this technique is n-version programming which uses majority voters. This paper introduces fuzzy voting based on fuzzy set theory to replace it by a majority voter of the improvement in software reliability. Estimates applied shows that the software reliability will be improved compared to the original method
