Abstract:
In this article, the second law analysis of MHD fluid flow due to a stretching rotating disk with heattransfer are studied by using an analytical method, called homotopy analysis method (HAM). In thisstudy the velocity profiles in all directions (radial, azimuthal and axial) ,temperature field and entropygeneration have been investigated. Entropy generation equations are derived as the function of velocitiesand temperature distributions. The effects of flow parameters such as magnetic interaction parameter andEckert number on theentropy generation are shown and discussed and also the path for optimizing the entropy generation is proposed
