Abstract:
This study aimed to evaluate the energy efficiency of greenhouse cucumber Varamin city was undertaken. This is statistical information using a random sample of 80 questionnaires greenhouse owners Varamin city in 2013-2014 were collected. Methods In this study, using the exchange energy and data envelopment analysis was calculated using DEAP software. The results showed that, under variable returns to scale (VRS) technical efficiency andAllocation efficiency and economic efficiency energy almost regular process are irregular trends. The average technical efficiency energy, energy efficiency, Allocation and economic efficiency of energy during the period 2013-2014, 95 percent , 0/211 and 0/203 respectively.Thus the gap between efficient and inefficient units of greenhouse cucumber, in terms of technical performance, energy, and 91/7 percent is, this is the difference between the allocation of greenhouse and energy inputs in the production of cucumbers in Varamin city to show it
