Abstract:
Planting patterns are often used to overcome environmental constraints on crop production. We studied the effect of different planting patterns of sunflower cultivars on yield components and achene yield. The experiments were carried out factorial (FA= variety (Farokh, Ghasem, 09-18SHF) and FB= Planting patterns) conducted based on CRD design with 3 replicate in the field at the Agronomic Research Area, Islamic Azad University of Agriculture, Branch Gorgan during spring 3983. The planting patterns were 9×09 cm, 09×30cm, 50×39cm, 19×80cm. The yield attributes, achene yield and dry weight were maximum with 50×39cm. The minimum achene yield and dry weight were recorded with planting pattern of 09×30cm.
