Abstract:
This research was aimed at determining the relationship between perceived organizational support, job satisfaction and organizational commitment of coaches of Iranian sports football clubs. It was carried out in a descriptive - survey method and as a field study. The study sample consisted of 131 coaches ofthe sports clubs. Three questionnaires, namely Perceived Organizational Support Questionnaire (POSQ), Minnesota Job Satisfaction Questionnaire, and Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) were used for data collection purposes. Multiple regressions were used for data analysis. Resultsshowed that perceived organizational support is significantly associated with job satisfaction andorganizational commitment. As well, there was a significant positive correlation (p<.0.0) between organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Generally, perceived organizational support plays an important role in determining job satisfaction and organizational commitment of sports clubs’ coaches (p<.0.0).
