Abstract:
Daily Management” is one of the core vehicles in TQM. However, because of the nature of it as “No Hero Job”, many people don’t pay attention for that. Needless to say, without the foundation of “Daily Management”, Policy Management, Cross-functional Management doesn’t work effectively. The author would like to discuss how is the difference among Daily Management”, Policy Management, Cross-functional Management, what are the nature of daily management, and how difficult to promote Daily Management. Especially, the author would like to discuss how to understand “PDCA” in a practical implementation. "PDCA" is the core principle especially in Daily management. However,
as Dr. Brian L. Joiner says, "The basic notion of PDCA is so simple that when I first heard it I felt I understood it in five minutes. Now, more than a decade later, I think I might understand it some day."
