Analysis of phytochemical constituents, antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of arial parts of Euphorbia aucheri

The aim of the study was to investigate the Euphorbia aucheri phytochemical compounds n- hexane extract , antimicrobial and antioxidant activity of methanolic extract. The phytochemical compound screened by GC-MS method.Qualitatively analyzed Tannin, Saponin, Flavonoid and Alkaloid gave positive results. In the GC-MS analysis, 14 bioactive phytochemical compounds were identified in the n- hexane extract of Euphorbia aucheri . n- Hexane solvent was used to extract the bioactive compounds from the aerial parts of Euphorbia aucheri and. The antioxidant activity of arial parts methanolic extract was studied by in vitro 2’2’- diphenylpicrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical –scavenging activity. Methanol solvent to screen the antimicrobial activity selected phytopathogens by agar diffusion method.
