Abstract:
In this paper, stereo type imaging scenario by a small satellite at the height of 500 km above the earth (LEO satellite) is described first. After that, to perform great maneuvers required for the satellite to do this scenario, a four thruster structure with local details on the body is designed and this structure is used as the satellite actuators. Then, because of considering effects of thruster on the problem, model and layout of the thrusters is extracted. A pulse-width pulse frequency (PWPF) modulator is used for converting continuous torque of the controller to a pulse torque generated by the thruster. Finally, moment of inertia changes caused by fuel consumption of thrusters is modeled and performance of the controller designed according to control requirements is evaluated by simulations.
