IMPLEMENTATION FEASIBILITY OF NEW ENERGIES IN IRANIAN ARCHITECTURE

Aiming at investigating factors influencing acceptance level of home consumers and industrial consumers, this study attempted to equip architectural environment with new energies technology in Hashtgerd City. To gather required data, we used descriptive-correlation method. The statistical population included all home and industrial consumers in Hashtgerd City (N=2800). Using Krejcie-Morgan table, we selected 283 people through stratified sampling method. In this study, we used questionnaire as data gathering instrument. The validity of the questionnaire was evaluated by experts’ opinions. Using Cronbach’s alpha, we also evaluated the reliability of the questionnaire (0.79). Theresults obtained from regression analysis revealed that appropriate economic and cultural conditions allow implementingthe considered technology
