Spectral resolution for simultaneous quantitative determination of Efavirenz and Nevirapine at anti-acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) drug components in the mixture by multivariate analysis spectrophotometry adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system (ANFIS)

In this study, attenuated total reflection-Fourier transformed infrared (ATR-FTIR) spectrometry based on adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) was used for simultaneous quantitative determination of Efavirenz and Nevirapine as anti-human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) drugs of propose. The absorption spectra of the standard solution of Efavirenz and Nevirapine mixture was recorded at 500–4000 cm-1 region to establish this model. The root mean square error (RMSE) of ANFIS model was 0.8 and 0.68 for Efavirenz and Nevirapine, respectively, and mine recovery in the evaluation model was obtained for Efavirenz and Nevirapine with the optimal conditions as 99% and correlation coefficient (
