Use of Saphir Software to Estimate Reservoir Parameters in Oil and Gas Reservoirs Using Well Test Data

Pressure transient behavior is among the most important information for characterizing a reservoir, forecasting its future performance, and designing an appropriate recovery scheme. The pressure data are recorded using pressure buildup and drawdown well test analysis. In this paper, pressure data recorded from transient well tests were analyzed using Saphir software and important reservoir properties including reservoir permeability and skin factor were determined.
