Abstract:
In this paper we introduce a new method of design optical fibers. Our design purpose is to obtain flattened dispersion curve of fiber with small amounts of dispersion in a large bandwidth. The used algorithm to achieve this purpose is Differential Evolution (DE) method and the investigated fiber is MII_type multi-clad fiber.
