Abstract:
This paper presents a single phase dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) which is controlled by proportional resonant filter bank controller. This structure is used for single phase AC-AC matrix converter to compensate voltage sags, swells, harmonics and flickers. The proposed converter does not have any energy storage devicesand dc links. The generated voltage at matrix converter's output passes from an injection transformer. The low pass filter consists of a leakage inductor in the injection transformer and a capacitor on the secondary side. Using proportional resonant filter controller compensates all orders of harmonics with proper dynamic response and zero steady-state error. The proposed control scheme for this structure is simulated in discrete time domain. Finally in order to evaluate the performance of the proposed structure, it has been simulated in the MATLAB-SIMULINK.
