Abstract:
The Aluminum composites with high strength & low density are identified in replace of monoliths Alloys. In this investigation the productions of Al6061 Alloys & Al6061/TiB2 Composites were studied through Mechanical Alloying (MA) route. The MA-nano powders were compacted in cylindrical shape and subjected to hot extrusion at 460 & 400 0C for Al6061 and Al6061/TiB2 respectively. The average particle size and their qualitative behavior were studied through TEM & XRD Analysis. The AFM studies were contacted on surface of extruded samples.
