Abstract:
In this study, spinel LiMn2O4 as cathode material for Li-ion batteries is used preparation of a combustion method was developed. The combustion method LiMn2O4 half of the phase when combustion is provided. This method is simpler than other methods. To prepare this material, raw material Laboratory Li (NO3) and Mn (NO3) .4H2O as oxidizing and sucrose with the chemical formula C12H22O11 was considered as a fuel. Powders obtained from X-ray diffraction were studied. FT-IR spectra of the samples were single phase. Results also showed that single-phase sample was drawn at 700C combustion using pure lithium manganese.
