Design DBBP Filter Using Coupled H-shape and T-shape Resonators for WLAN

In this paper a microstrip dual-band bandpass filter was designed using coupled H-shape andT-shape resonators for application in WLAN systems. The basic resonator was designed usingH-shape resonators. Coupled resonators were used to create dual-band frequency response inthis architecture. By added T-shape resonators in parallel to H-shape resonators at either sideof the basic resonator, connecting middle of H-shape resonators and to the transmission linefrom above and below and also by changing the dimensions of the H-shape and T-shaperesonators in the basic resonators Isolation between the two pass-bands and the first pass-bandcharacteristics are improved. Simulation results show insertion losses of -4.0 dB and -4..0 dBfor the central frequencies of 2.02 GHz and ..42 GHz, respectively.
