Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to determine if there is any correlation)s( among Emotional Quotient (EQ), Creativity, and Language Achievement of Iranian EFL students. To do thisstudy first each variable was measured by using a pertinent reliable questionnaire, and then by using SPSS program and Pearson Correlation formula the relationship among thesevariables was defined. The data were collected from 58 undergraduate EFL students ofShahid Bahonar University of Kerman. In this research the authors made use of the Persian reliable versions of Schutte et al., (1998) Self Report Emotional Intelligence Test (SSEIT),Rand sip et al. (1979) self-report Creativity test, and an English Entrance Exam Inventory to respectively measure EQ, Creativity, and Language Achievement of the students. The findings of this study showed that there is a significant positive relationship between EFLlearners’ EQ and Creativity, and EQ and Language Achievement, but there is not a significant correlation between Creativity and Language Achievement
