Abstract:

Speaking about civic education as a social ideal in Iran, as well as the possibility of challenging in our society is in order to enter the territory, because civic education and civil society is a phenomenon was born and raised in the context of the West culture. Accordingly, attention to civic education with Islamic approach has special importance due to the richness of Islamic culture in Iran. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the application of the principles of civic education with Islamic approach among secondary schools principals Meshkin Shahr and Lahrud in 2014 - 2015. The method in this research was descriptive – analytical. The population included all managers and deputies of secondary schools in Meshkin Shahr and Lahrud who 180 people were selected among them. The data were collected using a questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaire obtained 0.82. The data were analyzed after collecting using software Spss and using one-sample t-test and the friedman test. The results showed that managers are in the medium to high conditions and relatively good (3.84) in terms the application of principles of the Islamic approach with Islamic approach and among the civic education principles, the highest average was related to the principle of rationality and reasoning (3.97) and the lowest was the principle of tolerance (3.7) in the error level of P < 0.01 significant and finally, the proposals were presented in this regard.
