Abstract:

The complex and changing world is faced with numerous challenges and competitions of organizations in an attempt to attain novel technologies. In line with this is the notion that human resources and creative individuals as well as the theoreticians are regarded as the most precious capitals of organizations which play a great role. It is feasible that several factors contribute to the performance of staff within the organizations among which is organizational silence, the role of ethical leadership has been overlooked in determining the phenomena of organizational silence. In so doing, the effect of organizational silence has been studied through ethical leadership by means of SPSS software and regression as well as factor analysis. The statistical test results indicated that organizational silence had a significant effect on the performance of staff through ethical leadership. Also, the results manifested that among different aspects of staff silence, altruistic silence and altruistic voice had a negative and positive effect, respectively.
