Abstract:
Nowadays, many existing systems such as electricity, natural gas are being operated separately. According to the increasing of cogeneration and tri-generation systems, integration of energy systems is necessary. Energy hub is newidea to integrate elements in multi-carrier systems and that is the interface between energy producers, consumers and the energy transfer infrastructures. Thus, an integrated model based onenergy hub for optimal operation of electricity, natural gas, and hydrogen systems in a grid-connected microgrid is presented in this paper. This system includes wind and solar renewableresources, inverters, electrolyzer, fuel cell, boiler, heat exchanger,hydrogen tank storage, electrical loads, thermal load and hydrogen load. The proposed model is simulated using GAMS software.
