Abstract:
In this paper an overhead camera has been installed on the top of a robot’s floor. This camera supervises the robot and sends the images of the robot to a computer continuously. These images be processed by image processing and three essential parameters include robot’s position, angle and velocity is calculated. A sketch has been designed to make the operation of image processing simpler and this sketch is installed in the robot’s upper surface in order to be visible by the camera. The output data from image processing is transferred to the robot’s controller wirelessly. An Arduino YUN board is used as a controller and for making the wireless connection. LabVIEW software has been used for image processing.
