Abstract:
This paper examines the moderating effect of process management between green supply chain practices and corporate sustainable development. From the existing literature, there were mixed results concerning the effect of green supply chain practices towards corporate sustainable development. This study used survey to collect responses from 621 Malaysian ISO 14001 certified manufacturing companies. Two major findings were identified from this study. There was a positive moderating effect of process management on the relationship between eco-design towards environmental development. In addition, there was a mixed moderated effect on eco-design towards economic development. The findings showed that process management is effective for internally-oriented green supply chain practice (eco-design) in relation to the environment
