Optimization of the Geodetic Netw

The main purpose of Dams network optimization is designing an optimal network configuration and optimum observing plan in the sense that they will satisfy the present network quality requirement at a minimum cost. By avoiding any unnecessary observation we can save considerable time and effort in the field. This paper explain the practical procedure for optimize planning of the dams monitoring network. We explain a fully analytical procedure to solve the optimal designing of the geodetic and deformation networks.
