SOLUTIONS OF LINEAR AND NONLINEAR SCHRODINGER EQUATIONS BY USING REDUCED DIFFERENTIAL TRANSFORM METHOD

In this work, linear and nonlinear Schrodinger equations subject to the general initial conditions are investigated. The reduced differential transform method (RDTM) is applied to determine exact solutionof these equations. The work highlights the signi cant features of the employed method and moreover the comparison of the methods with other analytical methods available in the literature shows that although the results of these methods are the same, RDTM is a lot easier, more convenient and reliable than them.
