Abstract:

The advancements of women and the achievement of equality between women and men are a matter of human rights and a condition for social justice and should not be in isolation as a women’s issue. Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, Chapter III, Article 41 The Arab states are located in the Persian Gulf are wealthy and developing regions in the world. Oil and gas extraction, which has generated substantial wealth nationally and which brings crucial economic and political influence at a global level as well as new security concerns. Adherence to Islam in its various forms, in addition to tribal, conservative and tradition-bound culture and society, also shift from colonial status to 20th century independent nation state to 21st century globalization are a common characteristic of these states.Nowadays, an essential element in human rights assessments in these nations is gender and gap spaces between women and men. Arab women are facing excessive restrictions and deprivations according to human rights record. Under the umbrella of the United Nations and human rights laws, Arab women have grown in the 21th century. This paper explores the dilemma on the status of women and gender inequality in Arab regions in the Persian Gulf in the field of regulation, civil, social and cultural, economic and political rights, vis a vis international human laws reaction.
