Abstract:
Between different methods for evaluating technical efficiency, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is a non-parametric method based on linear programming that uses Decision Making Units (DMU’s) set which consists of inputs and outputs. Although the DEA models have a significant capacity to meet the needs of the organization to evaluate the efficiency, this model suffers from the control of the weight changes of the inputs and the outputs and selected a better combination possible for the big data as the result of the perspectives Management. Also this method has been solved through unsatisfactory method used combinatorial NP-hard problems. The current research integrated DEA simulation in metaheuristic method, Water Cycle Algorithm (WCA) for the analysis of the technical efficiency and calculate efficiency of economic units. Numerical results of execution models show that the WCA algorithm solves optimization problems in the different approach of DEA model with the allocation of the best coefficients to balance the weight of inputs and outputs
