Abstract:

In our daily interaction, the hugest part of the time spent in the process of communication is attributed to listening. This skill is in fact very crucial for any language learning efficiency development. However, this skill is sometimes frustrating for EFL learners who face comprehension difficulties when spoken messages are transmitted to them in the target language both inside and outside the learning context. Therefore, with the perspective to promote the target language learning and assist students in their learning process, listening metacognitive strategy implementation at the level of the language classroom constitutes the object of this study.
