Abstract:
The marine environment harbors a number of macro and micro organisms that have developed unique metabolic abilities to ensure their survival in diverse and hostile habitats, resulting in the biosynthesis of an array of secondary metabolites with specific activities. Several of these metabolites are high-value commercial products for the pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical industries. Marine environment due to the large variety of different creatures is an excellent platform for research and development, And so much have been attention as researchers and practitioners but so far it is not known potential. Marine environment is a huge source of valuable natural compounds as functional components include omega-3 oils, chitin, chitosan, hydrolytic enzymes fish protein components of algae, carotenoids, collagen, taurine and other bioactive compounds which due to their large properties such as the antioxidant, antibiotic, anti-tumor, flavorings, preservatives, etc., have been used extensively in the food and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes are. The use of these compounds in the food industrybecause of their role in health is growing. In addition to the use of these compounds in the manufacture of cosmetics and sea is also used. Due to the high potential and diversity of aquatic organisms in the sea, this detection is important in this research is discussed.
