Knowledge of Tehran s firefighters in urban events with an emphasis on plasco event in Tehran (Case study: the opinions of German Firefighters)

In early 2017, high-rise building collapse in Tehran Plasco became the headlines of all news agencies in a few minutes. The news was for high-rise building collapses that the age of about 60 years and swallowed 16 firefighters during their mission. This fall occurred after about 4 hours of firefighting team’s activity and near 200 firefighters on the fire-extinguishing mission had been replaced by debris. A quick look at the process that the operation can be very good operational techniques adopted in the incident. Firstly, the priority was to save their owners, if this was not done by the firefighters, the victims of this tragedy were several thousand. By examining the different dimensions of the plasco disaster, it can be seen that this incident, while bitter due to the loss of professional forces in the Firefighting Organization of Tehran, has a positive dimension. Now this positive outcome has been examined. This paper tries to discuss the positive dimensions of the incident with a research approach based on the strength of the German fire department. Using the analytical descriptive research method, the results are extracted and eventually an effective framework for controlling events similar to Plasco in the two countries
