Abstract:
One of the most basic components of a nano-electro-mechanical systems are nano-switches. This paper examines the measuring effect on the instability of nano-switches under electrostatic forces and the molecules. Nano-switches using non- local elasticity theory of Eringen and the principle of virtual displacements modeled as a beam. Model extracted due to electrostatic and the intermolecular forces are strongly nonlinear for it would be very difficult to offer analytical solutions. That is why the model is extracted using DQM numerically. Accuracy of equations is compared with FDM and other publications. After solving the offered model, a detailed study has been carried out on the parameters of the model and their effects on voltage instability.
