Diversion of Containerized Trade in Traditional Shipping Rout through a Via-Iran Rout: A Scenario Approach to Iranian Ports Role in Global Maritime Supply Chain abstract
This article conducted to study the potential of Iranian South ports for carrying some containerized transportation of traditional shipping rout by a via-Iran rout. By studying the economic, trade and maritime transportation trends and events the via-Iran routs is resulted. A rout in four egments is designed to do the carrier. To picturing the future in the widespread uncertainties condition, the scenario method is employed. Then a plausible future picture of the new terminal is developed under geographical, technical and economical themes for serving the containers in 2011. Emerging the great revenue will be for Iranian servers.
