The experimental groupreceived error correction treatment through recast. While the control group did not receive anytreatment. The treatment sessions lasted for ten sessions and each session took 90 minutes. Atthe end of experiment, the posttest was administered and then impact of the recast on thegrammatical accuracy of EFL learners speaking skill was investigated. To analyze the obtaineddata, paired samples t-test and independent samples t-test were run. The result of the studyrevealed that the difference between the mean scores of the experimental and control groupswas significant regarding the grammatical accuracy in speaking (p < 0.05). Those who listenedto their corrections used more accurate grammatical forms in their speaking in comparison tothose who did not.
