I am Majid Jafari Goujani, a researcher and carpet designer. During my undergraduate studies in carpet design, I honed my knowledge and skills through specialized courses. My final project involved the creative reinterpretation and design of ten iconic Timurid-era Persian carpets, along with an analysis of their formal structures. Driven by a desire to deepen my research skills, I pursued a Master's degree in Carpet Studies with a research focus. This allowed me to explore advanced concepts and methodologies in the field. My research focused on visual studies of carpets, culminating in a thesis that applied interpretative stylistics to Timurid-era carpets. My passion lies in expanding my knowledge, developing research expertise, and generating impactful outcomes in carpet research. I am committed to advancing my studies and actively contributing to the field.
