CORPORATE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND CAPITAL STRUCTURE: A REVIEW

Despite of tremendous progress in understanding the determinants of capital structure, this paper features a review on the importance of board of directors in corporate financing decision. By drawing on the recent and past studies, this paper seeks to build bridges between the theoretical and empirical evidences and to highlight future research agenda that will benefit scholars to debate on this topic.
