Abstract:
Nanotechnology is termed as a result of the synthesis, characterization, exploration, and application of nanosized materials in the event of science and technology. Nanoparticles (NPs) have unique properties due to their increase surface area to volume ratio. Therefore, NPs have been continuously evaluated and have been used in many industrial applications. In recent years, zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) as an important materials are utilized in completely different industrial sectors. ZnO NPs have various properties such as UV filter, photochemical, high catalyst, pharmaceutical and antimicrobial activities. Morever, it has received a great interest as an antibacterial and antifungal agent. ZnO NPs are used in medicine, biosensors, cosmetics and textile. It is clear that the rapid growth of interest in NPs has presented many challenges for ecotoxicologyand consumption limit value, not least being the effort required to analyse and understand the NPs themselves. This paper considers ZnO NPs and its various applications mainly biomedical applications.
