Abstract:
Self-configuration is one of the main challenges in Vehicular Ad-hoc Network (VANET). In order to improve the self-configuration, efficient routing protocols play an important role. The ad-hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) routing protocol is one of the most widely used routing protocols in VANET. This routing protocol finds the shortest path that is not the best route all the time. In this paper, we used a game theory mechanism to select the best route from the source to the destination vehicle. In this mechanism, vehicles have more passion to collaborate in the network. This mechanism by analyzing the parameters such as path length, path delay, the quality of received signals and relative speed of vehicles chooses the best route from the source to destination.
