Abstract:

With the progress of smart grids in power systems, centralized energy management could not response the new operation environment with DG resources. The flexible power system requires the development of Microgrids in order to overcome the economic and environmental challenges. Several strategies are published in previous researches for optimization of the operation costs and harmful emission reduction. Most of them have focused on the reduction of system fuel price and implementation of energy constraints and supply of the minimum reserve. In this study a new method is proposed for minimization of total operation costs, emissions and power losses and improving reliability considering the load uncertainties and operation constraints and renewable energy resources issues including wind and solar resources maximum capacity depending on the weather factors using Non Sorting Genetic Algorithm (NSGAII). The proposed method is programmed in order to improve the reliability level, reduce costs of operation, harmful emissions and line losses. The proposed method is implemented on a test network in Matlab environment. The solution of the NSGAII optimization method proves that with a little higher cost all the mentioned functions are suitably optimized
