Abstract:

Enterprises are continuously paying attention in responding to the customer demand for maintaining a competitive advantage over their rivals. A key feature of present day business is the idea that it is supply chains (SC) that compete, not companies. SC management must implement new and different strategies in order to respond rapidly to customer needs in uncertain environment. Some of SC strategies are Lean, Agile, Leagile and Resilient. So to make a supply chain more competitive, capable of responding to the demands of customers with agility, and capable of responding effectively to unexpected disturbance, and the necessity to eliminate processes that add no value, companies must implement a set of appropriate SC strategies. Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company (ITM Co) has appropriate scope for evaluating SC strategies due to variety of production, exclusive industrial environment (stable or unstable) and relationship with more suppliers and customers. The goal of this research is evaluating and selecting best strategy from the following strategies: Lean, Agile, Leagile & Resilient by using expert views and Analytical Network Process (ANP) approach. In fact, this research will intend to provide a decision-making model designated ANP to assist executives to select the best SC strategy.
