Graphene Nanosheets Synthesis by Exfoliation of Graphite in Supercritical Methanol

Graphene is an attractive carbon nanomaterial with exceptional properties and have a wide range of applications. Here,an efficient method for synthesis of graphene nanosheets investigated based on supercritical fluids. Extraordinary featuresof supercritical fluids were used for graphene preparation. Single and few layer graphene synthesized in supercriticalmethanol and the obtained graphene powder were analysed by Raman Spectroscopy, Transmission Electron Microscopy(TEM) and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM).
