Edge Detection Using Wavelets

There are many edge detection methods nowa- days as Sobel, Roberts, Laplacian, canny, etc. The wavelet transform which has the good local- ity and multi-scale identity is recognized as an e cientt way to detect edges currently [1]. In this article, we introduce the wavelet as amathematical tool for edge detection.
