Abstract:In this paper we have simulated different image restoration filters in spatial domain. All of the spatial domain filters select the mask for image processing. We have also analyzed the effects of spatial domain filters for different noises, and compared operation of this filters, adaptive median filter has best operation for impulse noise with Picture Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR)= 35.6791 db, and for Gaussian noise arithmetic mean filter has best operation with PSNR= 23.6852 db.
