Abstract:
Capoeta damascina is one of the most abundant fish, freshwater of Iran in terms ofnumber and weight, having a distribution broader than those of other species of thegenus Capoeta. In order to investigate the fish habitat in some aqueducts and springsof Kouhbanan in Kerman Province, of 18 habitat in 2013, fish were found in only 8habitats. Water environmental factors measure using HQd Multimeter. Based on theresults, the minimum and maximum temperatures were 17 and 25.6 °C in Begshtoeiespring and Esmaeil Abad aqueduct, respectively. The minimum and maximum pHwere 6.84 and 7.93, respectively, being measured in the aqueducts Dargazk andDehkhajeh. The minimum and maximum O2 were 5.21 and 7.80 mg/L, respectively, found in the aqueducts Dargzak and Sharif Abad. The min. and max. salinity were546 μs/cm and 7350 μs/cm, respectively, measured in the aqueducts ChashmeBondar and Dargzak. Based on the sampling the fish, the highest fish density wasfound in neutralizing pH, high temperature and low salinity aqueducts.
