Modified Single-Stage Switched-Capacitor Module (MS3CM) Topology for Cascaded Multilevel Inverter abstract
in this paper a new cascaded multilevel inverter topology which is called Modified Single-Stage Switched- Capacitor Module (MS3CM) is presented. While this topology holds the benefits of the S3CM topology, which are low voltage stress on switches and reduced number of DC sources, MS3CM generates 13 voltage levels by employing just 14 switches. Comparative analysis against S3CM shows that the proposed MS3CM topology has four more voltage levels just by adding two switches. The operation of the proposed topology is validated through circuit analysis followed by PSIM simulation results
