Abstract:
This study proposes a multi-objective robust optimization model is proposed to design a green Closed Loop Supply Chain Network (CLSCN) under uncertainty. Due to some government regulations and requirements, a firm needs to control the carbon emissions of its supply chain network. To consider this issue, in this paper the carbon policy is incorporated in the proposed model. Also, in the real world, given the unpredictability of the business environment (like natural disasters), the Firm may not be able to use all of its capabilities. In this paper, the disruptions in capacity of facilities are considered in order to be more similarity to the real world. The model captures trade-offs that exist among supply chain profit and carbon emissions. Finally, the proposed robust multi-objective model is solved using the Improved Multi Choice Goal Programming (IMCGP) method. The model determines the number and the locations of facilities as strategic decisions and the material flow between facilities as planning decisions. Results show that increases in demand and rate of return to one point lead to an increase in the profit, but from one point to the next, lead to a reduction in profit.
