Abstract:

Different redox conditions in different regions creation, can be effective for nutrient removal in a single bioreactor. A new jet loop-airlift bioreactor performance for simultaneous nutrients removal from soft drink wastewater (SDW) was evaluated. The presence of anoxic and aerobic areas with the settling area in an integrated bioreactor can be successfully. Two independent variables, hydraulic retention time (HRT) and air flow rate, were chosen for modeling and optimization. HRT of 11 h and air flow rate of 4 l/min, were known as optimum conditions. The jet loop-airlift system can be introduced as effective bioreactor in high concentration of carbon and nitrogen conditions.
