Abstract:
There are different techniques for increasing recovery of reservoir and production improvement and one of the most suitable methods is water alternating gas injection. In this method inject water and gas slugs into reservoir frequently. From main premium of this method between water injection and gas injection we can mention to increase swab efficiency by mean of water after gas injection and decrease residual oil saturation. In this study, in order to increase the oil recovery factor of an fractured oil reservoir, different ways of immiscible water alternating gas injection with 4 and 5 spot injection pattern were investigated and numerous method of water and gas injection, water alternating gas injection were simulated hrough Eclipse100 software. This result showed excessive recovery of oil in 4-spot well pattern than in 5-spot well pattern and lower residual oil saturation in later. what´s more, among all the water alternating gas injection methods, SWAG in 4-spot well pattern and SSWAG in %-spot well pattern have the highest recovery factor
