Abstract:

To approach the genotypes those have high yielding potential and high tolerance to biotic and a biotic stresses, this experiment was performed by 38 national segregative barley bulks (with checks) including 3 bulks of F5, 11 bulks of F4, 17 bulks of F3 and 100 international barley segregation population received from ICARDA at gachsaran agricultural research station and by 80 national segregative bulks (without checks) including 31 bulks of F3, 49 bulks of F4 and same as gahcsaran station a set 100 bulks from ICARDA at Moghan station during on years (2009-2010). Each segregate bulk was planted systematically, without replication and in six rows (4.37 m in length and border of 17.5 cm in wide) at common date. To estimation of yielding potential of evaluated bulks in Gachsaran two Var. Izeh and Mahoor were planted as check after each 10 bulks. Also in Moghan station two Var. Mahoor and Boolani were planted as check after each 10 planted bulks. Data was collected from main important agronomical and morpho-physiological traits. Segregate bulks management was conducted according to modified bulks method. In Gachsaran station, were selected 2 bulks from F5, 11 bulks from F4, 17 bulks from F3 and 60 bulks from F2 bulks, Also in the Moghan station were selected 30 bulks from F4, 35 bulks from F5 and from F2 bulks 62 population. In the gachsaran station, bulk No. 5 from F5 bulks Roho//Alger/Ceres36211/3/Alpha/Durra/4/ Wi2269/Line251112/3/Leb71/CBB37//Leb71/CBB29 ICB02-2841-OAP-OG-OG-OG-OG,bulk of 16 from F4 Otis/8/PLD10342//Cr115/Por/3/Bahtima9/4/Ds/Apro/5/ Wi2291/6/WI2291/WI2269/7/WI2291/WI2269//WI2291/Bgs ICB04-0881-OAP-OG-OGOG and bulk No. 28 from F3 Soufara02/3/RM1508/Por//WI2269/4/Hml02 /ArabiAbiad//ER/Apm/5/(Galleonx CIMMYT_42002) ICB05-0360-0AP-OG-OG with yield of 1312.2 kg/ha, 2615.9 kg/ha and 2211.6 kg/ha respectively and 6.6%,89 % and 56.2% increment in yield compared to average yield of two checks, were selected as high yielding bulks. Off course about F4 bulks, bulks No. 18 and 17 with yield of 20780.3 kg/ha and 1775.7 kg/ha and 50.2% and 28.3% increment in yield compared to average yield of two checks, were devoted 2nd and 3rd rank. About F3 bulks, bulks No 36 and 31 with yield of 1076.2 kg/ha and 2061.4 kg/ha and 46.6% and 45.6% out yielded of check means were placed in the 2nd and 3rd ranks. But about international bulks, in the gachsaran station, results showed that bulk No. 71 Moroc9-75//WI2291/WI2269/3/Hml ICB06-0898-0AP- OG with yield of 2740.7 kg/ha and 82.4% yield increment of check means recognized as the best bulk. Although bulks No. 70 and 68 with yield of 2649.7 kg/ha and 2618 kg/ha and 76.3% and 74.2% increment of checks mean respectively were placed in the 2nd and 3rd ranks. The range of grain yield in the international bulks have been varied from 596.8 kg/ha for bulk No.103 to 2740.7 kg/ha for bulk No. 71 Key Words: selection and segregation bulks, barley and modified bulk.
